Data You Give Us Directly
Information entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Fairfield Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Data We Gather Automatically
Hosting systems may record ordinary server-log details such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. These details may be reviewed in aggregate to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
The purposes are operating the reference, diagnosing problems, measuring traffic, and improving the pages. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built here.
Links to Other Websites
Pages link to Solano County and California portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Once you leave Fairfield Residents Directory, the destination’s privacy policy controls what you submit. Sponsored search results are also provided by an outside company.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support providers may process server logs for the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not shared as a visitor list.
How We Protect Your Data
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. Because there are no site accounts, Fairfield Residents Directory does not hold a password or user profile for you.
Users Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us and we will delete what we can locate.
Your Data Rights
California’s CCPA and CPRA, including Civil Code §1798.100 and following provisions, may give qualifying residents access, correction, deletion, limitation, and opt-out rights against covered businesses. Because Fairfield Residents Directory keeps very little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing what is found when appropriate. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by California, Solano County, or Fairfield offices are outside this service’s control; requests about those belong with the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
